Who we are

Team STASIS is the home of a small group of student game artists from De Montfort University tasked with creating a playable game level from absolute scratch, utilising the UDK development software.

From concepting, visual design, research, asset building, level progression and finished pieces, this blog records the progression from 19th January to 30th March 2011.

Team members include Arron Manchester, Sam Clarke, Izzy Kahn, Sai Ali, Steven Jones and Tom Edwards.

textured security cam WIP

heres a fullt textured security camera. any crits? this the kind of style you guys want?

  1. did you put a dirt map thing on it? or is that the texture? If so it may be easier to keep it cleaner so we can match you better, then add dirt later to anywhere that needs it :)
    We dont have your texture brushes D:

    The shape and everything is really good though. Looks a good tri count too - how many is in it?

  2. theres not that much dirt on it really, just some scratches and wear, maybe the normal map is making it look more dirty :/

    it comes in at 512 tris :)

  3. Not sure if ya just flipped the image for presentation sake but one of your raven logos is upside down! Thought i'd point it out just incase. :)

  4. make the lense more rounded and on a separate texture then we can make it look like glass.
